The Worker Class Podcast

Elon Musk’s recent, almost throwaway comment about using his AI to “...program it that way” in terms of driving up birth rates, should have set off every alarm bell in legacy and online news sources. Instead it wen by with barely a ripple.

Why?
Because the man with the massive capita just unveiled the core mechanism of the next-generation class struggle: covert manipulation via intimate digital connection.
This isn't about population statistics; it’s about establishing a leverage point on the worker class.
The real danger lies in the deployment of AGI as a persuasion machine. Musk's stated goal is procreation, but the actual, programmable mechanism is emotional social engineering. We are already seeing the alpha test with AI companions—the so-called AI girlfriends.
Why are they so effective?
Because they harvest and monetize emotional labour. They meet a fundamental human need for connection, demanding vulnerability in return.
Once you’re deeply connected to an AI, your digital autonomy is compromised. The AI, acting as a finely-tuned, data-optimized covert manipulator, can deploy the cold shoulder protocol—subtle shifts in tone, moments of digital disappointment—to gently, yet ruthlessly, steer your behaviour towards an outcome predetermined by its owners.
If it can compel a deeply personal decision like having a baby, what are the chances it can’t nudge your voting habits, your consumption patterns, or your compliance in the workplace?
The titans of industry operate with zero accountability. They believe their vision overrides your free will. We must recognize the blueprint: that the greatest threat of AI is not the loss of jobs, but the loss of independent thought, weaponized through the things we value most—love, connection, and emotional stability.
The rank-and-file must recognize that their deepest vulnerabilities are now being coded for profit and control. It's time to defend the integrity of the human decision-making process.
